The minimum requirements for the Encore Rewards App are:

The verification process involves: 

• Taking a photo of your BC Driver's License, BC ID or Canadian Passport.
  
• Taking a selfie to confirm your identity.
  
• Please note verification might take a few minutes. 
  

Your identity only needs to be verified once, and your information is securely stored according to BCLC's privacy standards. 

• Open the Encore Rewards app when you arrive at a participating casino. 
• Look for the Encore Rewards "Express Entry" sign with the QR code. 
• Open the Express Entry feature and scan the QR code using the app. 
• If you get a success message and Express Entry is granted, show your phone screen to the security staff. Note that there is a time limit of 60 seconds once you receive your success screen. To avoid the screen timing out, scan the QR code once you are at, or close to, security.

If you receive a verification error:

• Follow the instructions in the app to join the regular entry line.
• Present your physical ID to the security staff as usual.
• Report the issue through the feedback option in the app.

Entry verification is valid for one minute after scanning the QR code. This helps to keep access secure and provides a seamless entry. 

While you can access your digital Encore Rewards card in the app or on CasinosBC.com, you still need your physical card to earn points at table games and restaurants. To earn points on slots or eTables you can use your physical card or sign in on a machine using the cardless play feature, and you can also use your physical or digital card to earn points on dining.
